Let’s talk about the concept of eating for your energy and how certain foods can help raise your frequency and keep you feeling good! You might have heard of the term “high vibrational foods” before, but what exactly does it mean?
Let’s dive into some examples, and go thru how high vibrational foods can benefit your health and well-being.
What are high vibrational foods?
High vibrational foods are those that vibrate on a high frequency and bring about a greater sense of presence and clarity. Eating them brings a greater feeling of well being, balance, and nourishment.
Think eating for your energy- not just for your taste buds.
High vibration foods are grown or raised in an organic, natural way, and are not processed or treated with chemicals. They are packed with nutrients and good energy, and will help raise your frequency to keep you feeling good.
What kind of foods are we talking about here?
Fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, nuts and seeds, and lean proteins. Basically, anything that’s not processed or refined, and that comes straight from nature. Foods that are high in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins are also considered high vibrational.
Some examples of high vibrational foods are: berries, leafy greens, avocado, ginger, garlic, turmeric, blue-green algae and sprouts.
It’s not always easy to eat this way, especially with our busy lives and all the tempting junk food out there. But, trust me, your body will thank you in the long run. Plus, high vibrational foods can be delicious and fun to experiment with when making new recipes.
The Best High Vibration Foods for Maximum Wellness & Vitality
I highly recommend incorporating fresh, organic berries into your diet. These fruits have a naturally high vibration and provide maximum nutritional value. Berries are low in fat and calories, making them a great snack option. Plus, by incorporating a variety of different colored berries, you can also benefit from the different antioxidants and phytochemicals they contain.
Make sure to only buy fresh organic berries to align yourself with the natural energy of the universe while fueling your body with the best possible nutrition to make it thrive. If the fresh fruits are not in season near you, frozen is fine as long as they are wild and/or organic.
Fresh, Whole Fruits and Vegetables
Eating fresh, whole fruits and vegetables is the best way to ensure that you are consuming the highest vibrational foods available. Just make sure to only shop for organic and local produce to ensure the highest vibrancy as fruits from big supermarkets have been picked a while ago and have been through a lot of refrigeration before it gets to you.
I love local farms markets but some of the grocery stores where I often shop here in LA are Erewhon (they have an amazing supplements section!) or Whole Foods.
Superfoods are known for their high levels of essential nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins, making them perfect for a high-vibration diet. Some examples that I recommend include macha, spirulina, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and goji berries. These are great for providing your body with extra energy and vitality, helping you feel great and energized throughout the day.
Nuts, Seeds, and Legumes
These high frequency foods can be easily found in health food stores and prepared in a variety of ways: You can add them to salads, smoothies, or as a topping for your oatmeal or yogurt. You can also make a tasty and healthy snack by roasting or toasting them and then making a variety of other foods such as nut butter, hummus, or lentil soup.
Alkaline water is considered to be a high vibrational food because it helps neutralize acidity in the body and promote optimal pH balance.
Our body’s pH level should be slightly alkaline, around 7.35-7.45, and when it falls below this level, it becomes acidic. Consuming acidic foods or drinks on a regular basis can lead to an acidic environment in the body which can cause a number of health problems such as inflammation, fatigue, and even cancer.
Alkaline water is water that has a pH level higher than 7. It is rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which help neutralize acidity in the body and promote optimal pH balance. It also helps remove toxins from the body and neutralize free radicals, which can cause damage to cells and contribute to the development of chronic diseases.
Sprouts And Microgreens
These tiny plants are rich in enzymes, packed with nutrients and have a naturally high vibration. Sprouts and microgreens are living foods- they are still actively growing and metabolizing when consumed.
Also, they are high in chlorophyll which is a powerful antioxidant that provides major health benefits like cleansing and detoxifying the body and improving digestion and high in vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, K, and A, Iron and Calcium.
Tip: These are incredibly easy to grow at home, and they can be grown in a small space with minimal equipment!
Dark Leafy greens
Dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, collard greens, and chard are packed with vitamins and minerals. They are also high in Vitamin K, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C, folate, iron, calcium, and other minerals and antioxidants that protect the body from free radical damage.
One of the reasons why dark leafy greens are considered as high vibration foods is that they are rich in iron, which is essential for oxygen transport and energy production.
In addition, dark leafy greens are also high in fiber, which is essential for maintaining a healthy gut, and promoting regular bowel movements. They are also low in calories and high in water content, which makes them a great food choice for weight management.
Seaweed is an excellent source of antioxidants, iron and iodine, which is essential for the proper function of the thyroid gland, which plays a critical role in metabolism, growth, and development. It’s also rich in minerals such as iron, zinc, and magnesium, which can help reduce stress and improve your emotional well being.
A naturally rich source of antioxidants, specifically catechins, which are known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and other beneficial effects on human health.
Green tea is also high in L-theanine, an amino acid that helps to promote relaxation and reduce stress. And of course, it also contains caffeine, which can help to improve focus, concentration and mental alertness. Who doesn’t like a little late afternoon pick me up!
Drinking green tea regularly can also help to improve cardiovascular health, reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, the risk of heart disease and stroke, and improve bone health.
Raw or Lightly Cooked Meals
I highly recommend eating raw or lightly cooked meals because they retain more of their natural nutrients, enzymes, and energy. Eating foods raw is like literally eating health!
When food is cooked at high temperatures, it can lose a significant amount of its nutritional value. Heat destroys enzymes and vitamins, and it can also create harmful compounds such as acrylamide.
Raw foods are typically high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals and can help promote a healthy gut microbiome and aid in digestion asthey are also typically high in water content, which can help to keep you hydrated. For light cooking, use cold pressed oils, I personally love a good olive oil!
See this video about how to know if your olive oil is real and how to spot fake ones:
Some great tips in that video from people that actually make olive oil! Definitely worth a watch.
Are fermented foods healthy?
Absolutely 100%! I’m a big believer in the benefits of naturally fermented foods. Not only are they delicious, but they’re also great for your gut health. When you consume fermented foods, you’re introducing beneficial bacteria into your gut which can help with digestion and boost your immune system. Plus, fermented foods are often high in vitamins and minerals that are essential for a high vibration diet. Some of my favorites include sauerkraut, kombucha, and kefir. You can find either of them in most health food stores, give them a try and see how they make you feel!
The gut-brain connection to mood
I often talk about the gut-brain connection and how it relates to our mood. A healthy gut equals a healthy brain and way we consume food greatly affects how we feel about ourselves.
The gut is often referred to as the second brain,as it produces neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which play a major role in regulating mood.
When our digestion is in a good state, our emotional state is also in a good state. However, when our digestive system is in a bad state, we may experience symptoms such as anxiety, impatience, indecisiveness or even depression.
These carry vibrational emotions are connected to our gut health. By focusing on a diet that supports the gut and by making sure that we are consuming nutrient-dense, high vibration foods, we can reach a higher vibrational frequency.
What are low vibration foods?
Low vibration foods are typically processed, high in sugar, artificial sweeteners, unhealthy fats, preservatives and artificial ingredients all together. They are also often genetically modified (GMO) and contain pesticides, which can have a negative impact on our health.
GMO foods have been known to cause various health issues to the human body such as an upset stomach, pulmonary problems, cancer, neurotoxicity, brain fog and birth defects.
Low Vibration Foods You Should Avoid
I recommend avoiding certain foods that have been known to have a low vibration in order to live a full, vibrant life. These include:
1. Processed foods: Foods that are high in sugar, unhealthy fats, and artificial ingredients.
2. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs): Foods that have been genetically altered, and often contain pesticides, which have been linked to various health issues.
3. Fast food: Foods that are high in unhealthy fats, salt and calories, and lack essential nutrients- these really lower your vibrational frequency.
Next time you think of getting in line for that burger, how about having some raw nuts or some fresh fruit instead? Instead of helping cause it, these will help you fight inflammation.
4. Artificial sweeteners: They are often used as a sugar substitute and can disrupt our blood pressure and hormone balance.
5. Refined grains: Often found in processed foods, they lack essential vitamins and minerals.
6. Trans fats and hydrogenated fats: Again, often found in processed foods and can increase the risk of heart disease.
7. High-fructose corn syrup: A sweetener that can increase the risk of obesity and diabetes, you’ll see it in most sodas- opt for coconut water or a fresh juice instead!
By avoiding low vibration foods and instead choosing a high vibration diet with nutrient-dense foods, we can help improve both our digestive health and skin health and strengthen our immune system and vibrational frequency.
You’ve probably heard about all these and that they are bad for you but not everyone has the time to get their diet on track. As a health coach, I help you create a personalized plan that that works for you and your goals. Just reach out and schedule a consultation.
I look forward to the opportunity to working with you and helping you unlock your full potential.
What does eating a meal full of processed food do to your energy?
Eating a meal full of processed food can lead to a quicker digestion, meaning the body burns fewer calories digesting them compared to unprocessed foods.
Processed foods are also typically high in sugar which can cause a spike in blood sugar levels and create an “energy crash” which can leave you feeling run down and tired.
Processed foods are often high in refined carbohydrates and lower in fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals than whole, nutritious foods. This can lead to an immediate energy boost from the glucose in the bloodstream, but can also cause long-term health risks such as chronic diseases
Eating a meal full of processed food will disrupt the balance of good bacteria in our gut, which is important for maintaining a healthy immune system and overall well-being.
Like I mentioned above, the gut-brain connection plays a role in our mood and digestion and consuming them can lead to inflammation, anxiety and depression on top off contributing to weight gain and the development of chronic health conditions.
It’s important to be mindful of the types of foods we are consuming and to choose whole, nutrient-dense ones that will help us maintain optimal health and a high, energetic vibration.
Benefits of eating foods with a high vibration
What we eat plays a crucial role in our overall energy levels. By choosing foods that are high in essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, we can give our bodies the fuel they need to function at their best.
You need to listen to your body and what it needs. For example, if you have joint pain you’ll want to eat foods that have anti inflammatory properties or if you get gittery after coffee, try green tea! Start with simple steps.
Eating a high vibration food that is still full of its natural energy is like giving your body a boost of energy straight from nature. Not only will you feel more alive, but you’ll also notice a natural radiance in both your energy levels and your appearance.
Vibrational frequency is about more than food
You know when you walk into a room and it just feels off? Have you ever noticed that some people seem to exude positive energy while others seem to drain it? Or maybe you’ve had a rough night with too much junk food and drinks, and you wake up feeling blah.
Well, turns out that’s not just a feeling, it’s science!
Our bodies have a certain frequency, or energy level, that can change depending on what we do and where we go. A healthy frequency is usually between 62-78 Hz, but when it drops below 58 Hz, that’s when we start to see problems and even disease.
What does this mean for us? It means we have to pay attention to not just what we eat, but also our thoughts and surroundings. After all, we want to be at our best and feel good, right?
Our bodies are not just physical entities, but also energetic ones that vibrate at different frequencies. The healthier we are, the higher our frequency will be, affecting the energy we emit and receive. You want to surround yourself with people of the same frequency or higher.
It’s all about balance, and making sure we’re taking care of ourselves in all aspects of our lives. Eating healthy, getting enough sleep, surrounding ourselves with positive people and environments, and finding ways to manage stress are all important factors in maintaining a high frequency. And it’s not just about avoiding negative things, it’s also about actively seeking out things that make us feel good and elevate our energy.
Maybe it’s a yoga class, a hike in nature, a good book, or spending time with loved ones. Whatever it is for you, make sure to make time for it in your life.
How can I alter my vibration frequency?
It’s not just about the high vibe diet you eat, it’s also how you think, act, and interact with the world around you.
By becoming more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and actions, you can start to shift your focus from negative to positive. This can help to elevate your vibration frequency.
Eat high vibration foods
As I mentioned earlier, consuming high vibration foods is essential for raising your energy levels. This includes fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, sprouts and microgreens, dark leafy greens, seaweed, green tea, alkaline water, and raw or lightly cooked meals but a healthy diet is not just about fruit salad and plant based foods, it’s about creating a healthy balance.
Get enough sleep
Sleep is essential for our overall well-being, and lack of sleep can lower our vibration frequency. Make sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
Regular physical activity is important for maintaining a high vibration frequency. It not only helps to improve our physical health but also our mental and emotional well being.
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude can help to shift your focus from what’s wrong to what’s right in your life. Also, surround yourself with positive people!
Remember that raising your vibration frequency is a journey and it takes time, patience and consistent effort.
As a health coach, I believe that food not only nourishes our physical body, but also has the power to affect our energy and vibration. Different foods can have different energy properties, and it’s important to be mindful of what we’re consuming.
For example, fresh, whole foods like fruits and vegetables tend to have a high vibrational frequency, while processed and fast foods tend to have a lower frequency.
Eating a diet rich in high frequency foods can help boost our well being and being aware of the energy properties of food is essential when making conscious choices about what we put into our bodies.
Next time you’re feeling down or unwell, take a step back and think about the different things that could be impacting your frequency. Remember, a little self-care goes a long way in keeping our energy levels high and our bodies healthy!

One of the easiest ways to determine whether you are vibrating at a “high frequency” or a “low frequency” is by paying attention to how you physically feel. Do you feel light, energized, clear and healthy? Chances are you have a high vibration.
Lower vibrations are brought about by negative emotions, disempowering thoughts and beliefs, poor health, and a lack of spiritual awareness. High vibrational things cause well being in a person while low vibrational things cause disease and stress in a person. What stops a vibration? ›
