Previously on Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 2 Episode 7, Raquel searches for a new home while Kanan starts to stray from Raq.
As Lou finds himself on the other side of his partner’s unpaid debts. Burke gains traction in her investigation of Howard. A botched agreement with Marvin and an associate threatens everything.

Raquel confronted Palomar at gunpoint, threatening her to stay away from Kanan or else!
Unique knew Marvin put Marco onto a caper and figured out he put Marco up to murder Toni, yet it went wrong. Unique told Marvin that Dominic was still aliveand would have trouble if he started talking.
Scrappy’s mother rolled up on Kanan, who demanded he relays a message to Raq. She was upset that she wasn’t trying to find the person who killed Scrappy (she didn’t believe he committed suicide).

Lou-Lou grew angry at the DJ they paid to play Zisa’s song on the radio. The man had been stalling and only wanted to work with Crown Camacho. Since he’s gone, Lou stuck a gun in the disc jockey’s face to make his demands be heard! Soon after, Zisa’s song was finally played on the radio.
Meanwhile, Kenya surprised Jukebox with an intervention. She invited the folks from her church to cast her lesbian lifestyle away. They showed her p*rn videos of a man with a woman. Then showed videos of women sleeping together, she was held down and whipped her hand to force her to change. Although Kenya wasn’t informed about whipping, she withdrew from stopping them when the pastor confronted her. Jukebox didn’t yell, she shed a lone tear and looked at her mother with utter hatred! (Was this event the moment when Jukebox turned dark?)
Mind Your Business
Marvin frantically called around hospitals to see where Dominic was being cared for.
Det. Howard took his concern about Det. Burke reviewed his records with the captain.In speaking with the captain, Howard learned that Nicole’s father has been bringing pressure to investigate Burke. She was accused of providing drugs to young girls.
When Kanan visited Famous, he told him about Raq’s threat to Palomar. Kanan tried to speak with Palomar, but she heeded Raq’s warning and turned him away. When Kanan returned, Famous went through his back and saw the results of the paternity test Howard gave him.
Meanwhile, Sal Boselli spoke with Unique, charging him with finding out who killed his son. Also, who was with Marco when he was killed?
The captain confronted Burke about investigating Howard, and she was mandated to stop.

Whie Raq dined with Cartier, he revealed Traymont’s right-hand man was arrested for weapons charges. Raq dug more into the man and planned to bail him out of jail. Raq showed Kanan their new home. He confronted her about threatening Palomar. Kanan relayed Scrappy’s mother’s message, yet Raq maintained her lie that he killed himself. Kanan vowed to move out! Famous wasn’t home, so he went to Howard’s home for the night.
Sal toasted to Marco and learned Dominic was the one with Marco. Sal visited the recovering man, questioning him about the caper. Dominic told Sal Marvin was behind the job! Sal ordered his men to kill Dominic, ordered a meeting with Raquel, and he chastised Jimmy for not killing her when they had the chance.
Jukebox burned all of the girly clothes Kenya brought for her and returned to her tomboy look. Marvin visited the house and consoled her. The next day, Marvin confronted Kenya, and she struck him. He controlled his anger while Jukebox intervened. Jukebox told her mother that she didn’t and never needed her and left. Marvin spoke with Jukebox and managed to get through to her.
My Condolences
Raq shopped at the grocery store and was confronted by Burke about her past with Howard. Raq dismissed her…
Kanan spoke with Jukebox in private because he couldn’t trust his mother anymore. She fed him so many lies that he couldn’t decipher the trust. Therefore, he thinks all she tells him are lies. He’s upset that she uses him as an excuse to commit foul acts. So he moved out to live with Famous.
Unique met with Raq and told him about Sal’s demands to meet. Raq learned that Marvin put Marco up to hitting Toni, and it backfired. Raq was in shock and utter disbelief but met with Boselli. Sal demanded that Marvin’s gotta go! Raq rebutted that Marvin didn’t kill Marco, and she wouldn’t budge. (Sal would get to Marvin without Raq’s approval.)
Meanwhile, authorities recovered Crown Camacho’s body from the river…
Marvin visited Renee after her class and wanted to share his breakthrough with controlling his anger. She really liked him. Suddenly, two of Sal’s men confronted Marvin and shot at him and Renee! (Is Marvin or Renee dead?!?)
